Tour Itinerary
?? Day 1:
On arrival at your designated railway station, get picked up by a battery operated rickshaw that will take you to Belun Eco Village. Enjoy a welcome drink as you soak-in the unpolluted air. Freshen up at your own pace and proceed to a sumptuous lunch afterwards. All meals in this eco-village are prepared from farm-fresh products. Post lunch, you can go on a boat-ride on the Shibai River, or explore the orchards around the property. Evening can be spent at leisure followed by dinner.
?? Day 2:
Today after breakfast you can visit the local Sati Peeth (pilgrimage) site popularly known as Ottohaash or Phullora-tola. Come back to the resort for lunch and some relaxation. In the late afternoon, you can visit the old dilapidated palace nearby and take part in the sandhya aarti (evening prayer ritual) of the palace temple. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.
?? Day 3:
On the last day of the tour you can explore the forest area surrounding the property, or have some fun in the open-air bathtub built below the Jarul tree. Post lunch, it will be time to check-out and catch your train on time. Once again, you will be dropped off to the station on a battery operated rickshaw (popularly known as Toto). Return home with a lung full of fresh air and a mind full of memories.
P.S. You may also travel by car (about 175 km from Kolkata) if you are not comfortable with the train.
