?? Day 1: Guwahati Airport to Tezpur
Meet our Driver/ Representative at Guwahati Airport and proceed to Tezpur. Overnight stay at Tezpur.
?? Day 2: Tezpur to Bomdilla
After breakfast, we shall proceed to Bomdilla from Tezpur by crossing the Bhalukpong checkpoint. Enroute you will see the picturesque Tenga Valley and Tippi Orchid Research Centre. At Bomdilla you can visit the local monastery if time permits.
?? Day 3: Bomdilla to Tawang
We shall start our day quite early in the morning and head towards one of the highest motorable passes of northeast India – the Sela Pass (13,700 ft.). The approach to Sela is usually marked by fog and hilly imperfect roads, and is quite an experience! We shall reach Tawang by late afternoon. The stay in Tawang is ideal for exploring the villages spread across the hills, below the main town. The town is mostly remembered for the 1962 Indo-Chinese war. You may visit the war memorial if time permits. Overnight stay at Tawang.
?? Day 4: Tawang Sightseeing
After breakfast, your first visit would be to the Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), where the valley and lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains offer a spectacular view. Next, you would move on to Bum La Pass, about 37km away from Tawang. This is located on the Indo-China border, at 15,200 ft above sea level. On your way back, stop by Heart Lake, PTSO Lake, Naghula Lake, to make your day even more memorable. (Please note that sightseeing of these places would require you to hire a local taxi and hence it is optional. Also, Bum La Pass visit is subjected to road clearance by the Indian Army). Return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.
?? Day 5: Tawang to Dirang
Today after breakfast, we shall visit Tawang Monastery – the second largest Buddhist monastery in the world. After that, we shall proceed from Tawang to Dirang Valley. Dirang is in its own right is a picture postcard village with a meandering river and herds of cattle, sheep and horses being reared in the valley. We shall stay overnight at Dirang.
?? Day 6: Dirang to Shergaon via Sangti Valley
After breakfast at Dirang, we shall head toward Shergaon via Sangti Valley. Sangti Valley is a definite tourist spot if you love nature dotted with pristine forests, meandering, fast hilly rivers and a village with an interesting culture and tradition. Around this valley you can find various interesting fruit trees, orchids and some exotic birds. From Sangti Valley, we shall proceed to Shergaon. Shergaon is a small village that lies near the border of Bhutan. Identified as one of the prominent offbeat destinations in western Arunachal Pradesh, Shergaon is home to a wide variety of horticulture farms and is dominated by the Buddhist Sherdukpen people. We shall stay overnight at Shergaon.
?? Day 7: Shergaon Sightseeing
On this day, we will be exploring Shergaon. After breakfast, we will proceed for the holy visit to Zengbu Gompa, a 300-year old monastery. Later, we will go on a hike to the Yeshi Gogo waterfalls. In the evening, there will be campfire and storytelling sessions, near your homestay. Overnight stay in the homestay at Shergaon.
?? Day 8: Shergaon to Guwahati
Post breakfast, we shall start our journey back to Guwahati. After travelling through the beautiful hilly roads of Arunachal Pradesh and plains of Assam for about 7 hours, we will reach our destination. You will be dropped at the airport, with some sweet memories of your tour to Northeast India.

?? Day 1: Guwahati Airport to Shergaon
Meet our Driver/ Representative at Guwahati Airport in the early morning (by 6-7 AM) and proceed straight to Shergaon. Shergaon is a small village that lies near the border of Bhutan. Identified as one of the prominent offbeat destinations in western Arunachal Pradesh, Shergaon is home to a wide variety of horticulture farms. We shall reach the village by afternoon and check-in to our homestay. You can walk through the village in the golden hours, and enjoy the sunset. Overnight stay at Shergaon.
?? Day 2: Shergaon to Dirang
After breakfast, we shall visit the State Horticulture Farm, which houses more than 40 varieties of apples, and lots of exotic fruits like cherry, cranberry, blackberry, etc. There is also a megalithic site in the village which you can visit. Post lunch, we shall head towards Dirang. Relax and stay overnight at Dirang.
